Here are the seeds I'm predicting along with where the Spurs will fall.

1) Lakers
2)Thunder
3)Grizzlies
4)Spurs
5)Mavs (if they lose Chandler/Terry/Barea/any combo of these three)
6)Portland
7)Clippers
8)Hornets (possibly higher if they land Bynum/Odom)

If we land Kaman, I could see us beating the Mavs and losing to the Lakers in 6.

And IF we are healthy
And IF there is no Joey

Top three all that matters... so Mavs, Thunder, Lakers in no particular order.

Yeahh, no use in making playoff predictions until we've at least had some free agency movement. The landscape could be significantly changed in a very short amount of time.

So what you are trying to say is...we are doomed. :depressed

Lakers #1. no as of right now Thunder have the best chance to be #1 seed. young team that can do the back to back to backs. along with pretty much same Group of players. So no problems of teaching system and building team chemistry.

oh and ABC is televising only 8 teams this year.

That lockout really helped things in terms of balance, didn't it.

Assuming no major trades affect the balance of power out west:

1. OKC
2. LAL
3. Dallas
4. Memphis
5. Portland
6. Spurs
7. LAC
8. New Orleans

Assuming we get bigger, Dallas loses Chandler/Butler/both, and the Lakers get nothing:

1. Thunder
2. Grizz
3. Spurs
4. Lakers
5. Trailblazers
6. Mavs
7. Hornets
8. Clippers

Keep in mind the Spurs were best in the west last year if the injury bug hadn't struck and we had a solid big besides Tim. The run-and-gun wasn't gonna cut it in the playoffs, but if we go back to playing D we'll be set. Also, without Phil the Lakers will be worse off and we all know Dallas won last year thanks to Chandler and Dirk manning up.
