I think it's gunna be a great season, my favorite season still was TUF 12 with Team GSP vs Team Koscheck. Hopefully GSP's getting better, I currently have a torn ACL and Meniscus as well so I know the hell GSP's going through.

Sucks about your knee holmes, but I agree with you on season 12. Of course, I loved Mir vs. Nog also.

When I first heard about the coaches, I was bent -- I can't stand either of these guys. But after watching interviews, trailers, etc. I think it's going to be pretty damn good. I've read up on a bunch of the fighters and seen a few of their past fights and it looks like a pretty solid crop. Not to mention the fact that Cruz is a MAJOR tool, but he's taking it to Butt-Chin pretty hard in all the smack talk, but not in the usual Koschek sort of way, but by pointing out how dumb Urija is. Quite enjoyable, really.

Good thoughts.. Yeah i love Season 3 Tito and Ken and Season 12 the best.. Season 10 had potential but the fights all sucked..

Yea bro this type of injury is hell but I know in my heart I will come back better than before in a few months.

And yeah season 12 was great, but there were multiple seasons of this show that were great as well. I haven't watched all the seasons but TUF 1, 7, 8, 11 were all exciting. TUF 12's my favorite, and this past season was highly entertaining as well. Those little guys really have a lot of heart and big egos as well. I was rooting for Team Mayhem but I was happy for anyone who won. The pranks and trash talk of season 14 were great as well haha.

I was a little disappointed in the Finale when Dennis Bermudez got caught in the armbar by Diego Brandao, Dennis was only moments from winning that fight :depressed lol. But yeah this season has major potential in my eyes, not sure how it will end up though because it'll be live...that kind of bothers me.

Yeah, how could I forget Season 3...Major fireworks between Ken and Tito in that one. However, if I remember correctly Tito and his coaching staff clearly outcoached Ken Shamrock and his guys. And Tito dismantled Ken in the Finale as well I believe. And I agree with you on Season 10, that was a big let down.

What i loved about season 3 was that it was a gigantic middle finger to all the Tito haters. They thought Ken is an experienced coach and vet and Tito is the punk who is only doing the show for attention and pub. "Tito won't actually do much coaching, he won't give a shit" Tito comes out and takes the job more serious than anyone that had coached before, Ken acts like he is only there for the pub and Tito's team dominates with all the great Tito/Ken trash talk in the background.. It was classic..

Exactly brother, Tito really showed that he cared about his guys and got the job done as a coach. It's funny I was looking at some videos of that season and I stumbled on how their bad blood started. Remember this?

The TUF LIve debut fights are only 1 five minute round. Very interesting twist.

Again this is just to get into the house, won't be like this for the other fights, also they are giving 5K to allt he fighters who finish fights to get into the house.

Cruz's training segments displayed just how good a mentor and overall athlete he is. My dislike of him has definately downgraded to "mildly perturbed." He's a good coach.

Sad news about that one fighter that lost his father, hope he gets a win in the house.

That live fight was lame. Vick just avoids contact of any kind, like his other fight, and lands the lucky kick/knee. He could be amazing with the right training, but he looks too average in there even tho he won.

He really punked the shit out of Urijah with that one lol, first faber couldn't decide who to pick and then he asked his guys "Anyone feel like scrapping?" And none of his guys said anything. They looked like a bunch of pussies right there :rollin

But imo, Cruz followed that brilliant troll job with a big mistake by choosing Marcello to fight Lawrence. :nope Marcello is a beast, that might turn out to be a costly move.

Yeah we'll see but his team probably liked that. Cruz is telling his guys "I got faith you can beat anyone here so let Faber pick, we are still gonna win"..

And it was hilarious that Fabers whole team was like "Uh i don't know" LOL.. They all should have been ready to go since it was Cruz's pick..

This is an odd season because usually there are 2 or 3 fighters I root for and same for those that I hate. Tickle is the first on the list of fighters I hate, he complains too much during training; hope he loses tonight:

I enjoyed watching him give up and pretty much let that choke happen. Stick to the local fights that pay you $200.00 a night, where you can afford to not train, eat well, or have any real skill, shit head.

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/dominick-cruz-injured-ufc-148-190420411--mma.html

It looks like Urijah Faber will have to wait for the chance to settle his long standing rivalry with Dominick Cruz.

The UFC's reigning bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz has been forced out of UFC 148 after suffering a knee injury in training while working at The Ultimate Fighter Live.

Sources close to the situation confirmed the news to MMAWeekly.com on Monday.

Cruz was coaching alongside his teammates from the Alliance Training Center, teaching his team of lightweights on the first ever installment of TUF on FX.

The injury occurred while Cruz was working with his team, while also training for his showdown to Faber on July 7 in Las Vegas.

Cruz being forced out of the bout now leaves Urijah Faber without an opponent for the UFC 148 card, and it's unclear at this time if there will be a replacement or if Faber will be pulled.

MMAWeekly.com will have more information on this breaking news when it becomes available.

It will be interesting to see if they replace Cruz with another coach, or just keep him on for the rest of the season.

They replaced Tito when he got hurt so i am guessing Cruz will also get replaced.

This has been a great season of TUF, I'm so proud of Team Faber. I honestly felt that Team Cruz was the more talented team, but Team Faber had more heart. So many good guys on Team Faber : Mike Chiesa, Andy Ogle, Joe Proctor, Al Iaquinta, Chris Saunders and others. Funny how Cruz had a blank look on his face at the end, I'm sure if his team had won he would've been acting smug per the usual.

Urijah did a great job of coaching those guys, he was about business but he also helped the guys when they were emotionally down. That's exactly why a guy like Mike Chiesa who's father died on the first week of the show was able to reach the finals. Faber and the other guys were there helping and supporting him throughout. Iaquinta will be a tough challenge though. He's an assassin. He just looks like he's reached a point where he won't let anything stop him. We'll see what happens in the finale, but much props and respect to Team Faber.
