They got him for 1 year veteran minimum, like the deal.

He'll rot in the bench. This move really is not a big deal to anyone, besides Kapono, who now gets to delay going to the Euroloeague for at least one more year.

Congrats on acquiring the non-ginger Bonner.

Congrats on acquiring the non-ginger Bonner.

Except he won't be playing 30+ minutes and guarding opposing centers.

It's a one year vet-min deal, so fuck it...he'll get 7-10 min/game and be asked to do nothing but camp his ass behind the 3-point line and wait for the kick out. Lakers need all the outside shooters they can get, so this doesn't hurt to try.

No trolling, but I've always thought the reason why the Lakers fell last year is because they lack shooters. This is a good signing for the Lakers TBH and I expect Kapono to flourish in LA.

He'll take one look at the bright lights & commissed a crying jag, like Mitch Richmond & Tracy Murray,

Steve Kerr worked well for us when we had a couple decent bigs.

And that gotdamn Blake.

Everytime that SOB does anything he immediately looks to locate Kobe to make sure he did good:rolleyes

Blake is no Shaq, and if anyone thinks it was bad last year, just wait to see how overbearing Kobe becomes when Phil is gone and Mike "do yo thang playa" Brown is "running" the show.

^You're the one who cited Daddy. I just toted up the cyphers:::

Kobe: 2

Daddy: 1

Kapano's 3pt stroke is god-tier. At the very least you have to defend him 3pt arc extended as opposed to just being entirely ignored like Steve Blake was last season.

He won't be of use anywhere else on the court but any long-range shooting off the bench is welcome.
