Ron Paul will never be president. His views are too far out of the mainstream. People want the concept of change, but they don't want it to affect them. Ron Paul's change would affect them.

Plus, he would have 4 years of lame duck Presidency because he could never get a bill through the house and senate, and he would veto anyone else's.

People want Republicans to promise them that they will ban abortion and gay people and go to war with terrorists at any cost. People want Democrats to promise them entitlements and that the government will wipe their ass every time they take a shit.
