The Hornets are near a deal to send Chris Paul to the Lakers for Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom, league source tells Y! Sports.

It's Pau, not Bynum.

Isn't Okafor part of the deal to match salaries?

Makes the Lakers more beatable to me. Like Mono said the strength of the team was the front court.

Doesn't Kobe need people with a high shooting% to offset his? You only get that with bigs.

Talk to me after we sign Howard.

:lmao:lmao:lmao

How? Do you really think Orlando would swap Howard for Andrew "glass knee" Bynum?

Edit: In case you're trying to lure him to LA now.

And even if you try to get him next summer, with KB, Paul and Howard you will have serious cap issues. No bench at all.

Since NBA owns the Hornets, does that mean Stern just gifted CP3 to the lakers?

Sounds famliar. Same story like in 2007/2008 when Gasol was gifted to the Lakers for a bag of chips.

Even though CP3 is a Laker...Lakers pretty much have 1 knee big left....tbh..if the Lakers don't get any PF that was Pau or Odom like..this season for them will be..interesting...

Shooting percentage goes up with Paul getting people easy baskets.
