Magic Tell Dwight To Prepare To Stay Put For Foreseeable Future

When Dwight Howard asked to be traded, the Magic informed him that the team will not let his request dictate their timetable for a decision.
"[S]ources close to the team said there will be no rush to judgment on Howard's fate, no matter how uncomfortable the relationship might get leading up to the March trade deadline," writes Sam Amick. "When Howard requested a trade earlier this week, the source said he was told the Magic wouldn't succumb to the mounting pressure and that Howard should be prepared to play for the Magic for the foreseeable future."
A complicating factor could be that Orlando is investigating possible tampering by the Nets, the team that is reportedly Howard's first choice.

Magic want Gasol and Howard which would destroy the Lakers. Their team would be Kobe, Dwight, fat World Peace, and old man Fisher as well as RJ's lover. :lmao

we're not giving up both..they are gonna take Bynum or get the fuck on...Cully was probably right in all of this...he maintained from the start that he didn't want Paul or Dwight...now if we fail to get both and end up ringing again...then I will personally throw a party for Cully...Champagne on ICE and Champagne on KOOL :toast

So far all we did was trade Odom...he was more concerned with being a Reality Star and making sure his wife and her sisters had front row seats...I think Pau ( based in his own comments) is grateful he didn't get traded and will now play with a new cause to prove the Lakers wrong.

Bynum will be the next to be shipped. If we can claim B Diddy or Billups then I'll settle for that...still would be an improvement over Blake.

BYNUM must go now that Odom is gone. To keep him would just be a disaster.

:lol a really bad disaster...good thing Bynum has a jolly attitude about being traded...He wants to go to Orlando to try and be the man.,..:lol

I don't know why I put this in here but it's pretty crazy the transition of eras that is taking place. Old shitbag teams like the Lakers, Spurs, and Celtics are in the decline because of their aging superstars (KG, Duncan, Kobe, etc) while there's only a handful of young superstars in the league (Wade, Lebron, Rose, Griffin, Howard) and a bunch of mediocrity. The old farts still have the upperhand in championships with the Mavs recently winning but it's only a matter of time the new generation starts winning 'ships. Yeah I know Wade has a ring.

The Spurs are still stuck in limbo between catering our old shitbags and trying to surround them with young players. It's only a matter of time until they blow it all up as well.

It doesn't say anywhere on there about waiting on Bynum. Nice try tho...

Basically landing Howard is gonna be the difference of being absolutely atrocious this year or contenders.

I think at a higher and way more advanced level than you...Ace have you ever heard of the word implication? :lol Fact is there is nothing better out there for Orlando that taking Bynum...this is due to the fact that he won't sign an extension anywhere else...maybe NJ but if they get penalized for meeting with him then he'll walk in our arms

KEVIN DING @KevinDing 15 mins

I'm told there's no way Lakers are trading Bynum and Gasol for Dwight Howard.
