If we don't sign this guy it'll be our doom. This guy provides us with everything we lack such as rebounding, athleticism, ability to hit the 15 foot jumper, & BB IQ. The perfect role player for us with toughness as well. He's the missing piece for us & would also bring a little publicity. We need him and I'd be pissed if we let him sign have for less than we could give. We have to make this move R.C.

how much can the spurs offer him, assuming that the howard deal goes through? like 3-4 million? another team will offer more than that.

Dude is Garbage!!!...The only reason he was half way decent last season is because he had D-Will dishing out dimes to him, and he was getting some Kardashian too....D-Will would make Brian Cardinal look like a BEAST....Pass on this weak ass fool...............

And the reason he grabbed so many boards was that he was playing next rebound-repellent Brook Lopez.

Besides, we don't have the cash.

He's decent, he'll likely demand much more than he's worth though......and some idiot team WILL pay him...lol

Who would want to afford him?...I am telling you without D-Will he is gonna be horrible.....There are a few Point Guards in the game that can make a shitty player look good and Tony Parker, unfortunately isn't one of them....PASS PASS PASS

Wrong. He's actually capable of playing and defending people at his position. In fact he's actually capable of defending people. Spurs won't be able to afford him however.

Just to verify, the Spurs can't afford anything more than vet minimum since they're over the cap, right?

I thought they can still spend the small MLE?

DeAndre Jordan just got $10 million per for averaging 7/7. Humphries averaged a double-double last year. I suspect he's looking to bank.

They have the mini-MLE of 3yr/9M.

If they amnesty RJ they get the full MLE of 5yr/21M.

They also have the LLE which is roughly 2yr/4M.

If we could afford him, I think he would be a nice addition to the team. He won't take the MLE though...

there's an article on the Sunday star that says that Kim left him because he is gay. Maybe bringing him to the Spurs will motivate RJ to try harder?
