He's a UFA according NBA.com. He's not a guy with length, but he's definitely a tough guy that used to rebound and score well when given a chance by Boston. Not sure what he looks like after his ACL surgery.
This might be a guy we can get for cheap and worth taking a look at.
Anybody heard anything about him?

At this point I would be all over adding him to our bigs rotation. Absolutely.

He only played 30 games last year and 20 the year before it. Shame about his ACL, because he was an awesome glue guy for Boston.

I'd play Blair over him every night

Prior to his injury, I would have loved him on the team. He was one of the big reasons the Celtics won the 2007 title...he is just a body now.

Since he's a relatively tall body, he's likely out of the Spurs' price range.

He was waived by the Cavs last year. I don't think he even has a team now. He would be a "taking a flyer" type of guy, IMO.

he brings toughness, he singlehandedly made Memphis guard lineup so tough last year that they raped the Spurs in the playoffs.
He'd be a great pickup

Sounds like you're thinking of another former Celtic, Tony Allen
