I was watching TV the other day and there was some truck commercial where the truck did something incredible. Can't remember which one.

Anyway, in my head, I sarcastically thought "cold blooded" which is something we used to say in the...late 70's / early 80's I think. I can't remember hearing it used at all anymore.

Anybody have anything like that?

"Cold Blooded"

Also, we used to say, "I'm going to dot that eye" to talk shit. And later it became, "I'm going to dot your eye".

None of these seemed to stand the test of time.

CB slang has changed too...call some trucker "good buddy" now like in Smokey and the Bandit and you are likely to get decked...it has evolved into a euphemism for a gay guy...

Right. Also, the Browning sticker used to indicate someone who liked guns. A far cry from what it means now.

does anyone remember playing ball in the 80's and saying "soup" as your jumper was going in?
