At this point all we lost was Odom and I suspect he wouldn't have given us much this year anyway...I want to see how Pau responds...


What if the Lakers are both unlikable and crummy this season?
Seemed like a nice way to begin the week with Kobe (Bryant).


“You guys don’t appear to be as good as last year,” I (T.J. Simers) say, and he doesn’t roll his eyes, scoff or even glare.


“That’s because we’re probably not,” Kobe says.


“Do you believe that, or are you just saying that [for yucks]?” I say in giving him the chance to maybe sound more positive. “Do you think you’re as good?”

“No,” Kobe says. “I think we’re terrible . . . we’re going to be worse.”

So we agree, but I wonder if he’s going to demand that management do better.


“No, not at all,” Kobe says, “just stating the facts where we currently are.”

He's basically telling Jim Buss "you don't know what the fuck you're doing"... and from the early looks of it he's right...we need a big move...If we can swap Dwight for Bynum straight up and then sign AK-47 to sort of replace Odom..that would be acceptable to me

I'd say Spurs because we are still with RJ and Bonner but Lakers are close IMHO
