i heard somewhere he's retiring, and even if he's not i dont think the spurs are pursuing him, when tim was younger he could guard the more mobile 4 so it wouldn't be a problem pairing him with a traditional 5, but now with age, timmy has lost a mobility, and he's basically a 5 now, so i think the FO are looking more for a 4 compared to a 5 like Pryzbilla, etc.

Przybilla basically had two season-ending injuries, in one season. The first was on the court, and required surgery. The second was in the shower, and required a second surgery. It's unlikely that he will ever be the same Joel Przybilla. He's 32 - too young to be talking retirement, unless he thinks his knee is shot. That's a pretty good indication.

I would have loved to have him before the injuries. Talked about it here more than once. He still might be of some use. But against that Memphis team that ended the Spurs' last season? Not a chance, unless he makes a remarkable recovery. I wish it wasn't true.
