Yep. Word is Afflalo should be done by tomorrow too. Lost Gary Forbes. All in all good off season tbh. Forbes was ok, but the rest is better

Nene isn't worth that much.

No, but he could have gotten more considering how weak this class is, so all in all I'm happy enough. Sealing the deal with Afflalo matters now.

yea afflalo was a must keep... what the deal with smith, chandler, and martin when they come back?

chandler is a restricted FA I think, expect him to suit up for the Nuggs in March. tbh though, he looked pretty asshurt about the trade from NY, so they might let him walk back there. Some people reckon he's an all star one day. I think those people are morons.

Kenyon and Bonehead Juniour were both unrestricted FAs, and the Nuggs had made no signs they were bringing them back.

Nene is easily worth that much. He opens up the floor for everyone else. Without him, the Nuggets would be in the lottery.

yea i like chandler also he would be a good one to keep.. afflalo, lawson and gallo are a pretty good group... smith is a fun dude to watch but fuck i dont know how you guys had him on your team for so long lol

Maybe a bit overpaid, yeah, but they could have lost him if not.

The 5 years is too much since he's only played on this kind of level for the last 3 seasons, but that's market value for him at his production.

i'm all aboard the gallo train. he's big, moves well, shoots well and will thrive under george karl.

Then they'd be better off than paying him that much money when he's not going to attract real talent or make them contenders.

It's a bad deal.

They're not that far off. I think they'll be better this year compared to last season especially after removing dead weight like K-Mart and JR (and Carmelo one of the most overrated players in NBA history). Yeah, I said it. Plus, they got hosed in that series against OKC. Refs cost them possibly two games. I'm not saying they're a championship team, but they're a very good team. They could use a PF who can defend and rebound, but other than that, they don't have alot of whole lot. They're gonna be a very tough team.

13 million a season isn't that huge of a contract in today's NBA, especially for a player like NBA. Its either resign him or blow the thing up, which is a losing mentality.

obviously too early to say, but faried might fit that role.
