But what pissed me off was the fact that they blocked it when other NBA transactions went down without a hitch. What makes this deal any different? I'll tell you why: because the Lakers will sell out Staples Center with or without those two players - and Stern knew that.

I don't think Howard would've been traded and it would've been a shit trade for LA. Lakers will find a better trade, it obvious they're looking to make a move. Especially now Kobe is not happy with the moves made thus far...

Better than trading Odom straight up for nothing. I think the Lakers biggest weakness by far is point guard. That would've solved it and then some. They still got a quality big in Bynum. They could've had the perfect trio from a chemistry stand point.
