Agree for the most part.. but I think Indiana can jump ahead of Atlanta and maybe even Orlando with D-West and George Hill. Orlando hasnt really done anything from last season. And maybe New Jersey can sneak the 8th spot. Lol

That's pretty much it. Maybe Indiana a spot higher. East is boring tbh.

Fuck the East. It's all about the Western Conference. Alright maybe Miami and New York will be interesting to watch but the rest is a bore.

Atlanta is forever fodder, so I rank them above Orlando. Indiana's solid but they still have to show work. They have a powerful 1-2 punch already and George Hill's solid too. Philadelphia, they're going out early but they have some young talent and a good coach that can give them an extra 5-6 games.

People are vastly overrating Chandler's impact as the only guy in NY who will actually play defense.

Bulls are Legit, and upgraded at the 1 position they had a huge hole in... Bulls, as of today, are a complete team.
The Heat are top-heavy, and AFAIK, still have not addressed their issues at the 4 or the 5...

The Bulls are my favorite to win the East, barring some unforeseen trade...

The Bulls don't have Wade, James, and Bosh. They lack superstars. Their only big name is a low percentage chucker.

With a legit shooting threat on the wing, we will test that assertions of Rose as a Chucker... Rip, IMHO is a better version of BG from 2 seasons ago... The Bulls lack star power, but they have a star, and a lot of balance...

Again, the Heat are top heavy. They are 3 men deep... And they are 3 men deep at the wrong positions...

We have seen this before, where a single defensive player was brought in to 'save' an all offense team, with an all offensive coach...

Reminds me of Nelly with the Mavs and the Warriors (Bol and Bradley), and Karl with the Bucks (Mason).

It doesn't work... Chandler worked with the Mavs because they had 2 successive coaches stressing DEFENSE FIRST and DEFENSE as a TEAM EFFORT...

:lol Richard Hamilton is the answer for the Bulls?..he's an upgrade, but he isn't the difference between winning/losing the series, last year(especially with Miami adding depth and leadership in Battier)..

Miami also has the Rose-stopper, as Lebron showed in the playoffs..

- I actually like the Bulls progression. Rose a year older, and hopefully Noah won't be hurt all the time.
- Battier was a good signing for Miami. Not just for play time, but as a glue guy.
- Knicks now have a defensive talent in TC, although they're still missing a serious coach.
- I don't think the Celtics will be able to compete as well due to the season crunch and the old legs. In a lot of ways, they're not that different from the Spurs.

Miami, Chicago and Knicks all have a good shot at coming out of the East, IMO. They all have substantial talent, and a few weaknesses. Should be fun.

As of right now, everyone else doen't matter. Yes NY has a nice front court but need a better PG than Bibby to pull it all together. They also lack depth.

They went from a ball hogging defenseless 2 guard in gordon, to the corpse they put on the floor last year, to a capable 2 guard who play off the ball, plays damned good defense, and can score with consistency... Yeah, when your team has a gaping hole at only 1 position and you fill that exact need, you have found your answer...
