The main reason the Spurs are suddenly struggling is they simply stopped doing what got them the 2-0 lead in the first place. They stopped moving on offense. No one is cutting to the basket or anywhere for that matter. They pass the ball around and stand still. I haven't seen one back door cut by the guards. No attempt at a pick and roll. I saw one guard-around play and Ginobili scored on a layup but the next play they went back to stop motion offense. When their players don't move it just lets Detroit anchor their defense. They can double Duncan and slap at him because they don't have to worry about a cutter coming from the weakside. If they're going to win Game 5 they're going to have to get back to basics and what they were doing right. Start the motion offense and make the Pistons work (and think) on defense.
