Spurs give James Posey a shot since nobody claimed his tired ass off of waivers

If he has lost 30 pounds from last year, might not be a bad signing. Otherwise he's just a guy who only shoots threes and delivers the occasional flagrant foul.

Wasn't that the type of player we got every title year?

Amazing that professional sports broadcasters can't see that trip even on a replay.

Spurs' FO definitely surprises us sometimes with their decisions, but I can personally GUARANTEE you that James Posey will not be a Spur.

Meh, I don't see it happening. It wouldn't make and sense at this point either. Would've made sense before the amnesty deadline. Sign Posey where he would either A. Actually contribute as a solid vet or B. fall out of favor with coaching staff and end up give more playing time to Kawhi.

At this point R.C. and Pop have made up their minds and are gonna give this thing with RJ one more try. Barring a trade during the season before the deadline though, I'd bet RJ is cut via amnesty next year for sure.

Makes me wonder...a team that would take him on via trade...would they be able to amnesty him the following year, or does the CBA only allow it for the original signing team?

I needed to play it a second time to see it although I knew what to look for. Guess I should have maximized the frame earlier :lol
