The Kerrysnake was originally discovered it Massachusetts but has been recently spotted all over the country. It is believed that this species originally came to America from France because of it’s close similarities to other French snakes. This snake can be distinguished from other two headed snakes by the peculiar purple heart shaped markings on it’s heads, no one really knows for sure how those markings got there. The Kerrysnake also has camellian like abilities to change it’s color frequently to blend into it’s surroundings and may appear to be any color at any particular time. The Kerrysnake is frequently known to injure itself by trying to go in two opposite directions at the same time making it appear confused and uncertain about where to go. When threatened by any outside force it has the odd reaction of ignoring the threat and attacking the nearest bush instead. This usually results in the snake wrapping itself around the bush and injuring itself further by biting it’s own tail. When faced with a natural enemy, it will take a defensive posture but soon backs down and slithers away as fast as possible. Caution should be taken in the presence of the Kerrysnake. It has been know to attack Americans with poisonous venom, especially those in uniform. If you should encounter the Kerrysnake, keep your distance and consult GOP.com for assistance.
