Jerome Randle

I was watching the Mavs preseason game last night and they have a PG by the name of Jerome Randle who caught my eye. Nice handles. Very quick. Good vision. If he develops his game properly he could have a decent future in the NBA. So I decided to do a little research on him. Here's what I found.

College: California (Jason Kidd's alma mater)
PAC-10 Player of the Year

Averaged 18.6 ppg, 4.3 apg, 40.4% 3PT, and 3.5 TO's in 2009-10.

Apparently was a score first point guard but is developing into a pass first type of pg.

Has incredibly sick handles and had 524 total assists in his college career. Very quick.

I would like to see the Mavs hold on to this guy somehow even though there won't be a roster spot for him this year.

Jerome Handles has a bit of JJB in him. Incredibly quick and his ability to move around with the ball is something the Mavs will need this year if Roddy doesn't pan out. Maybe he will develop like JJB. Hopefully, he does.
