So, a friend and I were discussing how would one split the NBA rings Kobe got throughout his career.

So, this is my take:

He starts with 5.
Minus 2 that came from Shaq.
That leaves 3.
50% of 3 goes to wife. So Kobe is left with 1.5 rings.

This is my friend's take:

He starts with 5.
50% of that goes to wife.
That leaves with with 2.5
Minus 2, that goes to Shaq.
So Kobe is left with 0.5 rings.
