Could Xavier Silas, who Philadelphia just released yesterday, help the Spurs? Xavier is the son of Spurs legend James Silas and can put points on the board. Could this addition help?

We need to keep points off the board.

I knew his brother Shannon who now is a realtor. I wondered what Xavier would do after school, haven't followed him lately.

If he's a bonus, sure, but not just because he's the son of James Silas.

He would never get any minutes. There's just no room for him.

Besides, as Spurspokesman so aptly stated earlier, "we need to keep points off the board" and the Spurs would be better served investing in such a player that would help to that end.

Silas played in France during the lockout and he was just bad. It's possible that he will turn into a fine professional basketball player but his career hasn't started well.
