There was Kobe is just voluntarily giving half of everything he owns to her, as you do.

DUNCANownsKOBE

No, there wasn't. I ain't letting Cully off the hook on this one, he gave Shaq endless criticism for losing half his fortune to his ex, Kobe deserves the same criticism.

Giuseppe

No. The catastrophe for Kobe would to continue to stay married to Vanessa and for her to continue to forbid him his onions. She would not condone or grant him permission to live both lives. He couldn't quit that life. The catastrophe would be for Kobe to stay in that marriage. He would be devastated without his "special" onions. He'd be empty.

In this particular case, Bryant was fighting himself and his addiction to "pornography" & the dark world. No amount of monetary gain or loss is going to sate that draw, that hunger, that need for that lifestyle. He didn't know that before Eagle. He knew it after Eagle. That's why he returned to it,,,like? Yes, like a dog returns to it's vomit.

Giuseppe
12-28-2011, 12:11 PM
In this particular case, I put my Walter Mitty on in the belief that Bryant had given up his addiction to the slap & tickle lifestyle. It was commendable. I figured if he was going to fall off the wagon it woulda happened early on after the Eagle rape. It turns out that never happened. He's been bumpin' & grindin' ever since Eagle. If she can't do what Kirilenko's wife did and grant carte blanche to Kobe then she should leave him to his own devices. He'll find his contentment and she'll find peace of mind.

"First, I want to apologize directly to the young woman involved in this incident. I want to apologize to her for my behavior that night and for the consequences she has suffered in the past year. Although this year has been incredibly difficult for me personally, I can only imagine the pain she has had to endure. I also want to apologize to her parents and family members, and to my family and friends and supporters, and to the citizens of Eagle, Colo.

"I also want to make it clear that I do not question the motives of this young woman. No money has been paid to this woman. She has agreed that this statement will not be used against me in the civil case. Although I truly believe this encounter between us was consensual, I recognize now that she did not and does not view this incident the same way I did. After months of reviewing discovery, listening to her attorney, and even her testimony in person, I now understand how she feels that she did not consent to this encounter.

"I issue this statement today fully aware that while one part of this case ends today, another remains. I understand that the civil case against me will go forward. That part of this case will be decided by and between the parties directly involved in the incident and will no longer be a financial or emotional drain on the citizens of the state of Colorado."

It's easy to admit to rape after he's guaranteed they'll be absolutely no retribution in criminal court. In one motion he cleanses his conscience and pays her to be still ever more.

Same could be said for MJ or Shaq, you unfortunately took the opposite approach with those two in a desperate attempt to prop Kobe up, when in reality he's just as much of an adulterer as those two are. He's going through the catastrophe of losing half his total fortune just like MJ and Shaq did.

In other words, when Shaq and MJ have to get a divorce in order to sleep around, it's something to poke fun at them for. When Kobe does it, he's "fulfilling his destiny" or whatever.

You want to color each & every event with a one color broad stroke. That's ignorant, D.

Daddy & MJ got a divorce because they slept around.
Bryant got a divorce because he's compelled to sleep around.

Daddy & MJ got a divorce because they slept around.
Bryant got a divorce because he's compelled to sleep around.
Btw, this is retarded on so many levels.

1) Kobe was already sleeping around, that's why the divorce is happening. There are reports he's slept with 100+ women.
2) Because of their divorce, MJ and Shaq get to sleep around as much as they want to now, and they paid the same price Kobe paid.
3) Getting a divorce because you can't stay faithful is viewed negatively regardless. Kobe was sleeping around plenty before The Divorce happened.

what's even more glaring is that even after paying out 75 tickets to Nessa Kobe is still worth almost 100 million more (225 mill) than Tim Duncan and Peter Holt combined according to Forbes...that's astounding...:lol ( let's see if any finance majors out there) :lol

Yeah. Bryant didn't need Pippen to carry his end of the log. Jordan couldn't cut the mustard, nor lick the jar 'till Pippen made it okay.

Qualifies Duncan's championships by saying that he couldn't repeat:

^But, this one is pure truth. The shit bag is the odd man out. He is the only one of the listed not to have repeated.

And if he still tries to claim that he was only stating facts, then he should be perfectly fine if I state this fact:

Kobe couldn't win a championship without Fisher and an All Star big man.

Hey, it's not qualifying. I'm just making an observation.

Thank you. That's no more qualifying Kobe's OR Fish's titles than what I said about MJ & Duncan.

Just because Duncan can't repeat doesn't detract from his 4 Titles. They're just as valuable. He just can't repeat. There's no shame in that.

Wow, just when you think you know someone...

You build up all this respect and admiration for someone because you see their loyalty and the dedication they have to their NBA team..their franchise for life. You share a common bond with them because even though you're rivals, you know they'll always be there to support their team through the good times and the bad. Just like you'll be there to support yours.

Then you realize the person is like that with all their NBA teams. The Lakers, The Suns...God knows who else. Probably a Jazz fan too... or some other bullshit team. Should have seen it all along. A Lakers fan living in Phoenix... never even lived in LA. Like a Steelers fan that's lived in Kansas City his entire life. Have you no shame?

Hell, MJ is a Pippen clone. He couldn't do squat until Pippen helped him.

Kobe rang twice without Daddy.
