A collection of things but nothing in particular. The straw that broke the camels back was Amare carrying the Suns to the Conference finals, having his accomplishments belittled by racist fans, then the same retarded racist fans claiming the team would be better off by letting Amare leave.

After that whole situation I had an epiphany that Suns fans were worse than Jazz fans.

interesting. i'm not familiar with the racism towards amare. on completely non-racial grounds I fucking hate amare, particularly now he plays with that team-wrecking, no-D playing fag carmelo.

i've always wondering how people who are fans of a sport played by 90% brothers can be racist, but i'm sure it happens. i mean, laker fans completely overlook the fact that their best player is a straight up rapist.

Amare was constantly criticized for half hearted effort on defense.

Steve Nash was given a free pass for half hearted effort on defense, even being more of a liability than Amare.

Nash was never criticized for it, even after ridiculous stuff like being the only player to ever let Steve Blake drop 20 points and 10 assists (twice I might add).

Whenever the guy Amare was guarding scored more than 20 points and/or Amare didn't grab 10 rebounds or more, he faced criticism at all levels. The fans, the local media, etc.

Sure, "we" cited it (Amare), but, I never saw it in print, or, heard it on the radio talk shows. He was a sacred cow just like Nash was. Sure, once they ran him off they crucified him, but, when he was in uniform he was protected.

And he'd praise him with faint damning. I heard it as well. Their Abbott & Costello act was infamous for that shit. Always a caveat each day to protect themselves just in case he wouldn't sign here. Always holding back a salvo in case Amare stayed and they had to face him again.
