View Full Version : sons ... is this how we want to remember Kobe?

Costing his team this game... 6-28(:wow) shooting, 6 turnovers... Bynum, clearly the best Laker player on the court today, just watching in disbelief...

There comes a time when you have to start considering that perhaps suicide and/or retirement is better than taking that extra shot, and the one after, and so on...

Everything comes back to you when you get old. Today in Colorado, Gallo rapedPERIOD.

Bad handles, but his shot has been good bar the last 2 games. Once Kobe loses the ability to shoot it at least 43%, he's done.

Trolling aside, I wouldn't call him washed up. He's still an all-star caliber player. But the selfish prick needs to realize that the days of chucking to 81 are over and that the Lakers would benefit more from him being a 2nd/3rd option type of player, much like Manu in Duncan's prime years, who takes the game as comes to him rather than force the issue. But since he puts personal accolades over team success and is likely obsessed with his placement on the all-time scoring list, Kobe deferring to best player on the team (Andrew Bynum) isn't going to happen anytime soon.

Lol, let's hold on on the Bynum cock sucking just yet. We all know how his season ends up......sitting in a wheel chair eating cold cereal.

He just needs to stop shooting 3's and keep himself under 20 shots per game.

Agree. I wouldn't call him washed up either, but the jury is definitely out when it comes to his judgement... taking 28 shots when Bynum/Gasol combined take 27 is suspect as hell...

His judgement is definitely washed up. Always has been. Many times, the Lakers have won in spite of his bad decision making, and other times, it's cost them titles (2004, when he cared more about winning the Finals MVP than winning the title).
