Mike Trudell: Think Kobe was happy w/his 6-for-28 shooting night? He's currently breaking down the game film w/coaching staff on team plane.

Probably looking to see if there was something wrong about his shooting stroke. He was missing open shots he would usually net with no problem.

The entire team already accepts that Kobe will only pass when he feels like it, Mike Brown probably doesn't even care.

If the entire team feels like that:

1) They are all a bunch of fags.
2) They are fags, and they know Kobe is a selfish prick.

Kobe stops passing the ball when someone else misses a shot. If he's having a bad shooting day, the team loses.

He's looking for his numbers, trying to surpass Shaq in points (and selfishness) for some obscure mention by Van Gundy during a Knicks, Pacers game next season.

Kobe passes only when he feels like it, the game before last we were shooting terribly and he was making a lot of good passes. It has always been like that, he either is a volume shooter, foul magnet or pseudo PG.

That is simply how it is. Every game you roll the dice on what Kobe is willing to do.

Kobe is such a dedicated professional with such a great work ethic. Guaranteed this will help him going forward.

I fully expect him to improve his shot selection and efficiency for the next game. I predict he'll go 7-for-27 from the field.

Because it's true. To be fair, I saw a better somewhere else, but when tried to google it again, this one came out, which is yours (or you grabbed it first). Was shiny, and I took it. Still, if you want, I'll take it down, I'm a good sport.

Nah, I think Kobe will play good boy next game, and share the ball more.

In fact, he is capable of not shooting at all, and just pass the ball all game. Just to try to prove a point. Would not be the first time.

He will volume shoot again for about 3-4 more games. If he shoots above 40%, he's going to keep doing it. If below, then he will start passing and rebounding. After a few games of that, he will go back to volume shooting.

That's basically how he plays

The Buss family has control over him. They could tell Brown to bench his ass and let the others play for awhile, let Kobe's hand heal.

But fuck him, he's done. It's now Kobe meltdown time and this time it's quite likely no one will rescue him.

Agree w/ DMC. Kobe's just done man. 48k minutes, 16 NBA seasons + losing half of what you got will do this to ya. The first 3 games was an abberation, expect Kobe's numbers to stay at 39-41% FG 24 PPG on 21 FGA and 5.6 TOPG to stay consistent for the whole year.

That was Kobe a few years ago. Kobe for the next 3 years will not rake in 175 mil in TV revenues. No one would want to watch a guy shoot 6/28 and turn the ball over 6 times per contest.

Jerry Buss miscalculated Kobe's future worth big time. He thought Kobe could still lead the Lakers for some deep playoff runs to get some of that money back but its simply not happening anymore. Expect 1st and 2nd round exits year in and out till 2016 and quite possibly less National Televised games next season when younger teams like Miami, OKC, Clippers are a lot more fun to watch.

ChrisRichards

Your not the brightest so I'll clue you in. The 175 mil is Laker revenue not Kobes. They get it regardless if he plays or is even on the team. I have had people tell me for decades to expect first round exits and I'm working on 17*.

And your predictions are so accurate I guess all Lakerdom should be sweating. :lmao:lmao:lmao

Answering Chris.

TV revenues don't work for or against the cap

Buss maybe more inclined to pay a higher luxury with that deal, but that's it. Lakers would first have to be under the cap, or sign & trade someone, for the chance of a higher luxury to kick in.
