Spurs have Neal and Anderson to play SG. They don't need to sign a new player. And I rather give a try to Nate Robinson than Arenas if Spurs are looking for a scoring spark.

you asshole. lol. I will beat someone like in your avatar if we were to resign him ;).

I'll take Hibatchi if he checks out OK. Nate Robinson is interesting too as a scoring option.

Only way Arenas makes sense is if Pop decides to tank. Getting a past his prime ballhog and playing him big minutes is a great way to rack up losses.

Oh, and thanks again Dominique Wilkins :tu

Could work. Don't know much about college hoops, any promising bigs in next year's draft?

Basically outside of Harrison Barnes, the majority of the top end lottery talent next year are bigs.

Why can't the Spurs call him in and take a look at him?

See what kind of shape he is in physically. He's worth a phone call and workout IMO. You certainly don't have to sign him.

I can't say that I have watched him much in the last few years, as I am still going off of those 50 and 60 point games ;).

How bad is he these days? Has the knee injury limited him that much? Is he that inefficient scoring? defense non existent?

The Six Stages of Grief
http://www.livestrong.com/article/11...teps-grieving/

4. Bargaining
Bargaining is a form of desperation in which the individual tries to make "deals" to avoid bad things happening. When this occurs, the individual searches for hope in avoiding the inevitable. He may often receive false hope from others who have good intentions or want to make him feel better. People who have terminal illnesses may attempt alternative treatments or experimental drugs in the often-vain hope that these will have some effect in preventing the unavoidable outcome, which the individual is most likely aware of, at least on a subconscious level.

I think if he still had something left the Magic probably wouldn't have amnestied him.

You don't think it had anything to do with his contract? You know the one were he was still getting paid superstar money? He was amnestied because of his contract, his play would have been a distant second to that contract as far as amnesty reasons go.

Arenas is a scorer that gets his points mostly from being a ball hog and chunking up shots.. so yeah if you want someone who will probably get around 20 ppg on 39% shooting go ahead and sign this monster.. he'll rack up wins.. just like he helped Washington.

It's not like they had to amnesty him this year. The Magic are trying to win now because of Dwight Howard. If they really felt having him on the team gave them an opportunity to contend this year I think they would have kept him.
