...would he even be a top 5 MVP candidate? This guy lost to 2 teams with a combined record of 6-26, aside from the Packers. He ran up the score on a defenseless Colts team, selfishly chased the record when the Falcon game was out of reach, and ran up the score against the Panthers for no reason either.
Meanwhile, Brady and Rodgers just go about their business like true professionals. Imo, mvp should be in this order:
Rodgers
Brady
Rice
Manning
Megatron
Seems fair, right?

Really? When the Saints had a chance to get the 2nd seed and bye? The 49ers only won by 7 points against the Rams. Plus, the Saints kept the momentum going by playing well in the season finale. My only regret was they didn't get 50 on Atlanta or Carolina in the last two weeks.

Seeding? Who the fuck cares. Just get there and if you're good enough everything will take care of itself.
Didn't matter anyway, we ALL knew San Fran was gonna beat the Rams.

When the Rams were down by 7 and had the ball on the Niners 30 yard line late in the game?
Besides, the Saints wanted to be sharp for the playoffs. They achieved that even with resting some of their starters.

Seeding and homefield matters all the time. Anyone knows that.
Besides, the Saints wanted to keep the momentum going to stay sharp for the playoffs and this last game helped.

Sons, Drew Brees is easily the offensive player of the year. I have him #3 for MVP, though.

Yeah because sitting out Week 17 and letting your backup throw the 6 TDs you needed to break Brady's record counts as stat padding. I'll give you Brees, and Brady's stats are more or less a reflection of him becoming like Peyton Manning in that he HAS to do that for the Patriots to play competitively.

lol Spurs fans are mad as hell about dem Saints and Drew Cool Brees! sons when you have the best offense in NFL HISTORY the game scores usually get out of control.
lol at some of ya'll "ESPN" fans. "but..but..but! they have told me Aaron Rodgers is the best since preseason! who cares about the stats and the facts!?"
