They're playing some pretty uninspired ball because Cuban punted on defending the title, they got the best Eastern teams for tv purposes, and they're one of the older teams in the league in a very compressed schedule. I think they'll make the playoffs, but a key injury might torpedo that. In an 82 game season they'd have time to get it together, but their margin of error is so small right now.
