Bryant Pleased By Constant Communication With Mike Brown


Kobe Bryant is enjoying how Mike Brown keeps long hours at work, something that was never the case with Phil Jackson.


“He’s like me,” Bryant said later. “He doesn’t sleep. We talk all the time, and about everything: What we need to do, how we need to adjust. Constant communication.”


Brown is transforming the Lakers and Bryant believes the core of a title contender remains.


“We have our own Big Three,” Bryant said. “Andrew. Pau. And myself. Those are three bona fide All-Stars."


Despite a short season and an aching wrist, Bryant isn't changing his approach.
“I’m going to do what I do,” Bryant said. “I’m not changing.”

However, he already played 40+ more games than Mike, he's still short by 4,000+ points. At his current PPG, it will take him another two seasons to catch up, and if it's evident now that he's a record-whore chucker, well, by then there will be no doubt.
