I am from SA, but have been in Houston for a couple years going to school at UH. Anyway, I switched to At&T this year mainly for access to FSSW to watch Spurs games... However, after getting back from Christmas break all three games have been blacked out since I returned.

I assumed one game had to do with it also being on NBAtv and the others have both taken place during Rockets games.... Are they being blacked out because the rockets are also playing? Basically I'm wondering if I will only be able to watch games through streams/LP or when they are nationally televised.

Any help or knowledge with the situation is appreciated, thanks.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to see any Spurs games on Fox unless they play Houston. I'm in the exact same situation in Ft. Worth.

Well that sucks.... It is pretty ridiculous that I have both fox sports houston and fox sports southwest (which they call fox sports san antonio here). Spurs insider well be shown before the game, but as soon as game time hits the broadcast is blacked out.

yeah...it's bullshit. Up until this season, Att didn't even offer League Pass. Not that the blackout issue is their doing.

I guess he hasn't read all the other problems we've been talking about in the other topic. But I feel ya. We're all fucked, not just you.

RSNs (regional sports networks) like Fox Sports Net will only show live games on your local RSN. If your provider carries the other RSNs, live games are blacked out. That's because they are, by contract, regional networks only for live games. It has nothing to do with AT&T, nor NBA TV.

If you want to see Spurs games in Houston you will have to get NBA League Pass. otherwise you'll only see nationally televised games, and games against the Rockets.

I have League Pass, and am in the Houston area, and the Spurs/Rockets games get blacked out for me too. I have to watch them on Fox Sports Southwest.

I hope I get to watch a spurs game today. It's not on my league pass channel 953.

Jermaine, I was told about channel 953 that the reason it's blacked out is because the game isn't sold out so they requested a black out. That doesn't make any sense however since we aren't in that market and all the games on this channel are blacked out all the time. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor so they put me on hold and hung up.
