Less of him, and more of West/Terry/Roddy?

Love Kidd, but the team just seems better overall when one of those three are running point (Roddy of course doesnt run the team particularly well, but teams still fear him and his scoring ability, unlike Kidd). All of them provide a legit scoring threat in both shooting and driving, and West is a much better defender. Also, Terry has developed some nice chemistry with the big men in running the pick and roll, something that started late last season and into the playoffs, and it really helped the Mavs an awful lot in providing points when Dirk was out of the game. Kidd can't run it the way Terry can because no one is afraid of him scoring.

Only time will tell, but so far this year, the team looks better when he is out of the game. Granted, he's almost certainly coasting through the season, like Dirk has been doing, but there is just a level of intensity and energy, as well as offensive threat that West and Terry bring, that Kidd can't anymore.

bench dat old man imho. typical statlines of 3 points 3 boards 4 assists while being completely stationary on defense ain't gonna cut it imho.

Kidd still our best PG imho, dude's legs are way behind him and thats why he struggles against opponents who are quick and swift, however he still has alot to provide for this team, remarkably his experience/mentality. Kidd is a true legend and he ain't no such stern-muppet like d-fish tbh
