Attitude and a big dick is what separates the men from the boys...

The Mavs didn't even try...didn't even put up a fight...at this point there's not much difference between Dirk and Odom...they're both playing like shit...even though I'm appreciative of the help Lamar gave us it looks like we unloaded him at THE right time. Dallas gave us a TPE that will help us later.

People saying we're not playing for a title...think again...all we got rid of was a very very distracted Odom and a showstopper in Shannon Brown...and a coach who didn't want to coach anymore but allowed Kobe to be full-time player -coach...outside of that we gave up nothing else...Lamar didn't really give us shit but the ability to push the break and score occasionally. Shannon was just an occasional highlight dunk...

The Lakers should win the West and after-wards we'll see who we meet up with in the finals. If we're healthy going down the stretch then the league is in trouble...no one can mess with our front line and if Pau can get past the trade deadline you'll see him redeem himself in a major way.

Another thing..I like our white boys they're proving to be tough and defensive minded. They don't seem scared of no one..I guess playing with Bynum has that effect.

Lastly Mike Brown needs to be given credit he has the Lakers playing at a high level...In fact had we had a healthy Kobe with no Bynum suspension for the start of the season we might very well be undefeated right now...

Even if we drop a few games to those who think they're contending it's not a big deal...Once we play OKC, Boston, and Miami we'll reassess...those are the only teams I see challenging LA...

You can't judge Odom on what he's giving Dallas, Kool. Our loss is not their gain no matter his performance in Texas. It's still our loss. And when we look down the bench come April and he still ain't there, then we'll real the pain of total loss.

I want to agree with that..But I've watch that negro and in each succeeding year he gave us less and less...He peaked in 09 when he rang for the first time, played his heart out in each series then...and he could have recovered until he married a "To Wong Foo - Thanks For Everything Actress"...once that happened LA didn't have a chance..he turned Hollywood on us and just didn't give the effort...He worked harder on that fucking bullshit ass TV show than he did on the court...It was time...Cully it was time.....we'll give him love but it was time...

I'm still a bit shaky...but name a first year coach doing a better job...NAME ONE and then tell me why...

MB took the reins from a legendary coach ( who by the way) did ZERO transition with him. The least he could have done for banging the owners daughter all these years...Mike is preaching defense and so far it's paying off...

Lakers barely beat the Suns with Kobe going bananas. Now they will win a championship? Those lose that game to a contender...

To be fair, Luke Walton was playing major minutes and we were missing McRob,Kapono,Murphy.

What I'm impressed with most is the defensive numbers .... the Lakers under Phil were allowing squads to drop 110 often and 95 on a regular.

Mike Brown actually have these guys rebounding and defending. Even when they shoot like shit, they're still in games they shouldn't be in. Hopefully it sinks into their psyche.

Lakers going OT against a Utah squad - is that a game "they shouldn't be in"

M Brown doing a decent job thus far, but you still need to rectify your PG woes.
