This has been beat to death but I'm going to beat it some more. haha.
Has Pop just gotten complacent or is he losing his mental acuity? Was he ever a good coach? Or was he just incredibly lucky in 1) landing a superstar that was willing to stay in SA and 2) hitting home runs with some late draft picks?
What's the real story? Hard to find fault with someone when they're in the middle of title runs. But now, questions arise.
Playing Bonner for extended minutes. Not playing Tiago against Memphis when it was clear their size was killing the Spurs. Overloading the team with undersized bigs and average SGs and SFs.
IMO, these next years will decide how the Pop book is finished. Can he do anything with this new crop of youngsters? Or is it just going to be more of the same? Will he ever have the balls to trade Parker while he has some value?

I'm not sure what I did that would make me pink worthy. I started a thread about TP after he played what I thought was a crappy game.
And I started one aboup Pop for his bonehead decisions. Oh yeah...and the one about Bonner.
Serious question: Is there a different protocol in starting threads here as opposed to the NBA Forum? If so, I'll honor whatever the convention is.

The Book of Pop will have only one ending: Springfield, Mass.

The Public Book of Pop maybe. But not the Spurstalk version.

I'm sure he's losing sleep and the desire to drink wine over a bunch of online jerkoffs who don't like his rotations...
