Rockets nip Blazers in OT

Houston, TX —
Houston's starting backcourt of Kyle Lowry and Kevin Martin combined for 61 points as the Rockets took down the Portland Trail Blazers, 107-105, in overtime.

Lowry filled the stat sheet with 33 points, nine assists and eight rebounds while Martin added 28 points -- including four consecutive free throws in overtime to seal the win -- for the Rockets, who are 4-1 at home this season.

Nicolas Batum netted 29 points on 6-of-7 shooting from beyond the arc with eight rebounds and four blocks for Portland, which lost its third straight game.

Marcus Camby -- who's averaging 8.7 rebounds per game -- missed the game due to a sprained left ankle. Without him in the lineup, the Rockets outrebounded the Blazers, 54-46.
