An Ebay ?

Is it safe to buy a phone through Ebay? My phone crapped out on me, and need to get a new one. I saw a few on Ebay, but I wasn't sure if it was safe or a good thing.


Don't shoot me if this has been asked before, I searched and I couldn't find a thread.

depends on who's selling it. whenever you find a phone you like, check the seller's feedback/selling history and see if they have any complaints or comments. It's done at your own risk regardless

As long as its someone with good feedback you should have no problem and I think ebay/paypal pretty much give you a guarantee on your transaction.

I've bought 4-5 phones off eBay over the years for myself or others. They've all been fine (with the exception of a BB I bought my father some time ago, it seems to eat batteries). But yeah as others said as long as you buy from a reputable seller, it should be fine.
