Just thought we should give our man props for winning that game for Indiana yesterday. Could have used that play against the Kings last night :depressed

Fast forward to 1:37 mark.

Leonard >>>>>> Hill.

Hmm, maybe a play where he didn't get the benefit of a no call would have been better.

Leonard's the real deal.

Road play was always Goerge's achilees heel, looks like he's crossed that bridge.

good for Hill but did he kick the ball?

good for Hill but did he kick the ball?

More like Ellis tried to crossover and dribbled it off Hill's foot. Hill made no attempt to put his foot on the ball, but I'm not sure if that's actually considereed a kick ball in that type of scenario or notl. Heck, I've seen offensive players dribble the ball off their own foot and run to retrieve it, no violation called.

Per the technical rules, I wouldn't call that a kick ball. However, it's like a 50-50 call for the refs, as that's the kind of play that they would call even though it isn't really.

If it took this long to start a thread about missing Hill after a loss....

I don't see anyone saying that. The thread is just giving props to the man for winning the game for his team.

This thread sure seems to be stirring up alot of butthurt.

Good show for Hill. It's good to see him finding his footing in a Pacers uniform.

I'm sure Pop is smiling somewhere - maybe even still praising Hill as being a "lockdown defender".

Hey I'm just pointing out the facts to you, nowhere in his post does he specifcally mention missing George Hill.

Saying we could have used a certain play from a certain game does not equate.

I think Pop's legacy will be much like Larry Brown's (without the team jumping). They will be thought of as teachers, and their students will saturate the NBA.

Don't care what you believe aobut me, I'm just telling you he never mentioned Hill specifically, just that we needed a play like Hill's. So keep biitching and moaning about it. It's funny.

I wonder how close TJastal's mother came to aborting him. I assume it's a decision she regrets.

Pop, and the Spurs organization, already have a very deep coaching tree. Think about Mike Brown, Monty Williams, Avery Johnson, along with executives like Dell Demps, Danny Ferrry, who has recently returned to the fold.

Grats to Georgie, it was nice to see. We all know that if Hill did that as a Spur they'd have called the kicked ball and given the ball back to the Warriors.

I bet folks won't admit it, but they are having second thoughts about that KL for Hill swap and wishing for Hill back. You could always count on Hill to be healthy and ready to step in for either Parker or Parker's backup. With the emergence of Green as a potential RJ backup the spurs would have been covered at every position and not in the current bind they find themselves in
