Yeah supposedly he has passed. Sucks this whole scandal thing had to come out now.
Had a great career in coaching, just wished he could have done more when it counted with the Sandusky thing.
* Apparently Onward State reported that players were emailed that he had passed. CBS Sports.com had it up that he had died but that link is down now. Spokesman for the family says it is absolutely not true. Pretty odd to misreport something of that nature.
Adam Jacobi of CBS Sports has issued a statement:
"With the benefit of hindsight, I wish I had done more... fact-checking."

I think it's great he had leave the school in disgrace. There isn't a person in the world I would protect if I found out he was raping young boys. Fuck him for letting the school cover up his assistant's pedophilia. Eat shit and die, Paterno.

I thought about feeling sorry for him, but I figured that if he covered up the rape of boys, there's no telling what else he covered up or let go by during his career. Fuck him.

Not a good guy. Glorified by the media just because he was a big time coach for a long time.

Does this help or hurt the Penn State Pedophiles that Joe loved so much?
District atty get admissable statements from Joe? Of course he had his defense liarwyers right by his side. Put his house in his wifes name, etc.

He was overrated to boot. Everyone just loved him because he'd been there for so long, but that was all erased when it was discovered that he was a boy rapist enabler.
Fuck that, and fuck the blind retarded shit fans that were mad over him being fired.

This is bad news. Well, actually not really. Not for me anyway.
Now I get to whore another American tragedy and make a song out of it in order to make money.

Well in his defense, there was a major difference between the two.
One was arguably the greatest musician of all time while the other was an extremely overrated coach who hardly ever won his own conference and was only popular because he was very old
Remember this? JoePa even had the good grace to say the kid didn't deserve to get sent home.

Ironic that they had a moment of silence for JoePa, when that's what got him into trouble in the first place.

Getting fired killed him. If he'd had Sandusky thrown in jail 14 years ago he'd likely still be coaching and when he died it wouldn't even have been mentioned.

It would have been mentioned as a positive that he put the kids above the football program.
