Did you just like sit around and think of the 4 most even teams you could possibly dream up? I think you could play a round robin tournament with these teams 10 different times and get 10 different results. For one, the Nash team would struggle against the Rose team because of the mismatch also KG wouldn't be able to hold lebron on the perimeter and Duncan wouldn't be able to guard dirk out there either. each team on that list has a kryptonite i think.

Really hard to say, the one with Rose is def #4 though.

Right now I take 4, in their primes, hard to say. 2 would be hard to beat.

So

1 - 3
2 - 1
3 - 2
4 - 4

2,1,3,4 for me. That's probably the most obvious ranking though.

2, pass first PG who plays D, Jordan and Pippen, Malone, and the Dream.

The 90s era team is a clear number 1 to me. The defense on that team with Stockton, Jordan, Pippen, and Hakeem would be ridiculous. Pippen and Stockton were also terrific team players so this team could gel well. I would take the 2000s era team next. Duncan and Shaq in the front court with Kobe at the wing and Nash feeding everyone? Pretty good. The 80s era team would be third on my list. Great team, I just think the other ones are superior. The current era team is the weakest of the lot. Maybe that judgement will change with time, but for now it is clearly the weakest.

Stockton, Jordan, Pippen, Malone and Hakeem is obviously best by far. 4 is worst by far. 1/3 tied.

Stockton was one heck of a passing lane invader, though.

If were talking primes, as has been said 4th team is easily the worst. All of them are great offensive players but because of defendse Id go:

2
3
1
4

Why would you needs Nash's offense on a team full of offensive juggernauts?

Stockton is overrated because when people look at his stats they're expecting a superstar. In reality he was just a consistent all star level player who played hard and smart. He's pass first, able to make open 3s/jumpers, reliable FT shooter, gets steals (imagine fast breaking with Jordan, Pippen and Malone) and he plays smart defense. I think hes a nice compliment to team 2.
