Love the win, and at the risk of being a downer I'll say we just beat a 3-14 team (1-9 at home - worst record in the West, one of the 3 worst records in the league) by 2 points.

Great night for the Hornets. They lose again and the T-Wolves are losing late.

That was pretty damn good defense.

Absolutely! Except for Danny....who happened to be guarding Marco B..

Great win.

But how was that not a foul on Okufar on the Splitter dunk attempt. Home cooking at its finest.

I don't care if we just beat the decayed remains of the original Harlme Globetrotters, a win is a win is a win.

No idea why Pop thinks he can defend.

Tiago and Tim on the floor at the same time. My favorite part of the game with Tony's playmaking a close second.

BTW, Pop is a fucking idiot for putting Leonard into that situation cold. Seriously stupid.

He's the reason Vasquez wasn't open for the three in the corner. Smart decision by Pop imo.

GJ Spurs. Parker with career high in assists and Duncan with season high in points.

Pop gave Anderson a chance tonight. Nothing wrong with that. I've been calling for him to get another shot for awhile now. He wasn't very impressive though.

Actually, Vasquez was wide open for the three but the pass never came. Leonard recovered but putting a rookie who's cold who you've beaten the confidence out of over the last few games into that situation seems mind blowingly idiotic.

He didn't get dog housed, he got there's-no-primary-wing-scoring-option-on-this-team-ed.

It's funny though, they supposedly stresses defense, they predictably have great difficulty guarding one of the worst offensive teams in the league (who's missing their best player/scorer, to boot) and instead of having Leonard guard Jack and having Parker shift over to guard Belinelli, he just goes away from him.

How does Dejuan Blair rate 20 minutes tonight and Splitter only rates 23? Blair was horrible tonight. Absolutely horrible.

And what happened with Leonard?

They could have called NO for 8 seconds on that.

Yeah, I'm just used to watching the back-picker on those side-OB plays. I don't know why Jack didn't look for him.

No, putting him in for the first time since 4 minutes to go in the first quarter is what's stupid. If he's one of your best defenders, why has he been sitting on the bench for 41 minutes?

Seriously, your reaching on this OV. A whole different story if your asking for offense for a guy whose cold. And you think Leonard isn't one of the best defenders for the Spurs?

Bro, I think Pop blatantly did that cuz of 2 reasons

1) Duncan was gassed

2) he wanted to give game-ending crunch experience to the youngins. Witness James freakin Anderson guarding the inbounds pass.

It's the same logic I guess that had Pop putting RJ on Amare in a tie game with 3 seconds to go and what had Steve Novak inbounding with 2 seconds to go in overtime.

Seriously, if a guy is good enough to be in there for those situations, then he should be in there while the other team is tearing you up.

Good points.. I thought he might have been hurt or something and I just missed it. Would have liked to see him abuse Ariza while Parker and Splitter were doing their offensive damage.

Such is the mind of Pop. Not saying what I woulda done, just saying Pop's intentions seem fairly obvious to me. I could be wrong, but I like to pretend I'm right so I just forget about it and move on.

Let's just hope that Leonard and Anderson both learned something in that last play.

It was the 1,000 time someone asked WHAT HAPPENED TO LEONARD? Not going to go in depth every time someone refuses to look through the rest of the threads to figure it out.

If I quoted your name and asked you specifically I could understand the comment. If you don't want to talk about it you don't have.

Secondly, I was active in the live thread, I don't recall anyone responding to "what happened to leonard questions" with in depth analysis. In fact most of the speculation happened on this page.

Glad the silver and black got the win, but at the same time, constantly seeing teams and players get their season high in stats is getting old. This team is an easy first round out unless they decide to play some defense.

I know they are capable of playing better defense and there is still time to get it right, especially since Pop can play Tim and Tiago together. Maybe Bruce's jersey hanging from the rafters will inject some "Rash" into this team.

*Now that you finally played them together Pop, please let us see some high-low action between Timmy and Tiago...please!

What I've noticed about this team is that, other than Tiago and sometimes Blair, no one really gets into foul trouble. Does that mean no one is expending energy on defense?

Pop likes to save the leftover fouls for the next game.
