tbh we should go ahead and list our political affiliation here. This will be the starting point for our affiliations, further political views will be added as we figure this thing out.

For now, here is the current two party system.

Regulators Party

(the platform that trolling should be allowed but regulated. Excessive trolling of a frivolous nature will be moderated, and warnings issued to violators. If those violations go on, punishments will be handed out.)

LiberTrollian Party

(Let freedom reign. Trolling should be allowed without regulation. Everyone should be allowed to troll freely until a ST law is broken. At that point the hammer is dropped on offenders.)

You can't have a regulators party without DPG ...:lol

I think we need a 3rd party otherwise alot of posters will be independents.

I expect the Regulator party will try to expand to other Forums like Hornets Report, Clutchfans, etc with their aggressive foreign policy.

An (R) or (L) next to the usernames in The NBA Forum Executive Committee thread is a good idea, tbh. Maybe add a (D) for symmetry. IMO, Draconian Party (focus on retaining order), Democratic Party (follows the will of the masses) or Docile Party (believes in limiting any interference of status quo) could be worthy alternatives.

Libertrollian here, of course. I support and defend all trolls of any stripe, and I also support and defend merciless counter-trolling.

LiberTrollian. The popularity and subsequent success of this forum is product of the freedom it so generously afforded its posters. Freedom to post without censorship. Freedom to troll absent punishment. Freedom to rape the minds of the dumb and curse the gods themselves. Where is honor in making free posters slaves to unnecessary law? That is not living. That is not posting. Only egregious trolls should face consequence. Only those who firmly and clearly overstep the bounds of their station should meet the fate of mob, the fate of exile, or worse.

I don't support political parties. They are divisive and will tear apart this forum in the long run.

I'm torn. I like some of the Regulators policies, but then I like the openness and being free in the LiberTrollian party. I guess that's why I'm not on the Executive Committee.

Or people who's boat is covered and every day they get to fish the wind is 50mph.
