But does he spread the floor?About the only thing he does tbh. The Toros need some bodies though, and he's been here before.

Speaking of the Toros, since we didn't pick up the option on Anderson,I went to see if I could find any newspaper or blog info on them recently to try and keep up a little. There's been nothing I could find in the Austin Statesman or the Toro Nation blog since Jan. 19th.

Any idea why there is a blackout in news? No home town support?

From the info on their home webpage it looks like they are still tearing the D league up this season.

Dentmon and Lance Thomas looked good in stories and videos, and it's nice to see Butler is still playing OK, but the one whose stats caught my eye is Leo Lyons, a 6"9" 240 pound forward who's shooting FG at 48% and 3pt.at 43% Of course they don't tell you how many attempts so it could be a statistical anomalie, but I did see him can one on a video and his stroke looked pretty good. Rebounds looked OK too.

Why don't you post some info weekly on them since you are a fan and keep up with them?.

Why don't you post some info weekly on them since you are a fan and keep up with them?.They have been on a tear as the record indicates. Leo looks like he's fully recovered from his ankle injury in training camp and has had to log a lot of minutes at center as the Toros have lost both their centers to injury and Europe respectively. Before Luke joined them, they had only eight players on the team. Fortunately Danny Ferry did a great job putting the roster together this season and every single man can contribute every night. That is almost never the case in the D-League.

Justin Dentmon has been talked about here and is nearly unstoppable in the D-League. It remains to be seen whether his scoring skills can translate to the NBA, and he has a long way to go before he can truly be trusted as a point guard. Turnovers and decision-making are big challenges for him.

Lance Thomas is an undersized power forward who was trying to transition to small forward before the roster depletion. He's a very high energy player with a nose for the ball who has guarded three positions successfully at this level. His perimeter skills are pretty bad, but he does seem to be developing a jumper beyond 15 ft finally.

Da'Sean Butler started the season very tentatively and looked to be out of shape. He gained a lot of confidence as the season progressed and is now one of the more physical players on the team. The jury is still out whether he can regain the form the made him such a prospect before his injury, but his numbers as a starter have been impressive. He's shooting 60% from the field and the arc in that role.

Those are the main players, but as I said everyone contributes. It's been fun to watch this season. The Toros play the #2 team in Iowa tonight. They have a very solid team and an NBA send down center in Hamady N'Diaye. Should be a good one.
