I've always supported Pop's player rotations.

He does a magnificent job of getting his guys rest, and subbing at the right time.

Now I'm not saying he's right ALL of the time, but he's got a set rotation that works most of the time.

Sometimes it bites him in the ass, though.

So tonight, with his team having gotten 2 days of rest, I think he needs to throw them out the window.

Duncan, Ginobili, and Parker all have to play 44+ minutes tonight.

And Horry needs to get about 30-35.

I think it's their only chance to win.

They may have been the best home team all year long, but coming home down 3-2 is just too risky. Too many things can go wrong.

Felix Wright?

ha ha, anyway, I have to agree. I think in such a critical game that the starters need to leave it all on the floor and log heavy minutes, assuming the refs don't backside them into BS foul trouble.

Most importantly, if someone (like Nazr) picks up two quick fouls, keep him in the game. Force the ref to give him 6 fouls. All it will do is fire up the Spurs.

(Note, this is different than my rebuttal in the Spurs must play violent post, because I'm not advocating for Spurs to pick up fouls. I'm just questioning Pop automatically pulling out players who pick up quick fouls, IF they are playing well).

Nazr has been playing marginally vs Pistons. Why pull him with 2 PFs in 1st qtr?
Tell to him watch his own ass, and to bust it hitting the boards.
No need to preserve Nazr for the 4th, Horry closes in his place.

I don't know about 44+ minutes, but they have to play as much as possible w/enough fuel left for the 4th.
