I'm really sorry for posting this, and please feel free to move/block it if u feel it doesn't belong here..

I'm just curious since i'm not computer guy and have never bought or sold anything on ebay... If the Spurs win the championship how much do you think a signed basketball of ALL Spurs players would be worth? Would that have any value at all?
Not that i wanna sell it or something, just curious.... Thanks!

They're only autographs. I'd sell it quick while Spurs fans still have their hard-ons.

Not during Spurs games, no matter how much I like Duncan.

ok... well, i still didn't get any numbers up...

Don't get me wrong, it 's nice to have it...but if someone would put a big number up... :) i guess not...it's only a ball..

If you put it up right after the Spurs win the championship, there's probably a Spurs fan out there willing to pay upwards of $1000.

Well, they go for a couple thousand at the Spurs fundraiser's but if you did need the money then selling it while the fans have there "hard-on's) should merit you around a grand, I think.
Personally, I couldn't sell it.

I think so too. Holding onto a basketball because a bunch of geeks think people writing their names on it is worth something is ridiculous IMO. I'd rather use that money to go to a few games or something.

That's my point... i never really understood what is so cool about autographs... well, i'll see, thanks to you all!

I don't care so much about the actual autographs I have. What is meaningful to me is the memory of getting them. That is why I think they are priceless

To me things like being at 2 Finals games, seeing the MDM from the Dome, seeing the first victory parade, seeing David's first game, meeting David the first time he came to SA, shooting with Ice on the Hemisfair court, etc. are priceless. A bunch of names scribbled on a ball is meaningless to me. If someone wanted to pay me $1000 for it I'd move it in a second. I'd sell it for $100 if that's what its market value was.

I'm guessing if anybody had an authentic signed ball, it'd be HIP HOOPERS.
