I think the loss of Zach Randolph def gives us a edge, regardless if we have Manu or not. I agree with you in 5. Our youth and bench gives us alot more energy than last season, and the grizz had much more energy than we did in last season's playoff matchup. But memphis will have to reach the playoffs first, I have a feeling they will be left out this season.

They are a different team without Randolph. With Randolph and Manu it is going to be a tough series, probably Spurs this time in 7.

Without Zbo? Spurs in 5. With ZBo, I don't know yet. Need to see a whole lot more of ZBo and Gay and the rest of that team together before I could make that kind of prediction. FWIW, it does seem that ZBo affects the team more positively than Gay does, but that could be due to Gay's lengthy absence and their general mentality that evolved when he was out.

last year we peaked too early and memphis was rolling at the right time. Who knows what will happen this time around but we still have no answer for their frontcourt

Once they are fully healthy the Grizz are going to be a tough team to beat again. They have got all the right pieces to contend in the West. With both teams healthy, I would take the Spurs in six this year. Splitter and Leonard give us just enough defense, and having a healthy Manu would give us plenty of additional offense. I believe we could have beaten them last year with a healthy Manu.

... Let's not forget that they've lost Arthur for the season, which makes them a lot easier to handle in terms of defending big men.

Also no battier and his dirty fouls.

With a healthy manu and healthy zbo, i think we'd still beat them in 5.
