what kind of announcer stays in the air making compliments to both teams? walton is just fine, he just gets a bit carried away. his team came back from down 0-2 back in the day so i bet he identifies with them. if the spurs win this game he will be singing a different tune come tuesday. also, that's what you get for watching pregame.

He just wants to be on the side of whoever wins. The problem is, he doesn't know when to switch. Mark my words, he will jump back on the wagon when the opportunity presents itself! Fuck Walton(loser)!

No! Playing refers to the present. Played would be more appropriate!

Walton is running some serious smack on the spurs. I'd be pretty bent too... except for the fact I agree with him. Nothing he has said today though has measured up to his classic "shrinkage" blast from last game.

He seemed pretty point on with his comments IMO. The Spurs are playing scared and they are playing soft. I cant argue with anything he has sadi so far.

Hubie on the other hand is a total homer. When we were rolling Detroit in games 1 and 2 he still coldnt stop talking about how great Detroit was. now with the series tied he continues to ride their jocks. I wish a local station was carrying this game cause Hubie is a douche.

theres 800 people saying the exact same thing on this board, most of them consider themselves spurs fans. I got no problem with Bill Walton.

thats it.
I've had enough.

The Spurs ARE playing soft, but they are NOT soft.

OK, here's my problem with the "Tim is Soft" argument.

Does anybody say Shaq is soft? No, but he got beat by the Pistons TWICE.

Duncan hasn't even lost to the Pistons ONCE, and they're calling him soft.

Bull Shit. :cuss :stfu Walton!

Forest Gump's Mama would say: "Soft is as soft does".

Tim, chronologically in his prime as a dominant Big Man, is clearly not giving prime performances. Some of the un-prime is from his ankles, some of it ... I dunno.

Tonight, we need a career performance from Tim as the platform on which to win Game5, which will only be accomplished by everybody doing their bit, having their own career moments, plays, heart-and-soul on the court.

It's not wins and losses that make bring the word "soft" into the discussion. It's demeanor. A superstar leader sitting on the bench being looking like he might cry (as Duncan did in game 4) as he's being consoled by the coach is going to draw that kind of criticism.

For the 8,482,198th time...

Get over the press. Especially on TV. Those guys are there and are told which side of the issue to take, and how the station (ABC) wants it framed.

ABC is expecting the Spurs to come out blazing, so why not hype them up as done for? It makes for great basketball.

If you didn't notice, all playoffs long Greg Anthony has been anti-Spur, and they cast him as the guy in our corner tonight.

Why ya'll get bent out of shape over bit actors playing a role is beyond me.
