sorry bud, shitty schools (especially in such a highly competitive field like engineering) don't prepare one for work in the real world. making 90k+ as a CPA >>>> waiting tables at a mexican restaurant, which is what you'll most likely be doing. when an employer is looking to hire an engineer, they are looking for someone highly intelligent and qualified and seeing "UTSA" on your degree just ruins it. UTSA is probably a fine school for liberal arts and maybe even some useful degrees, but engineering is the last thing i'd ever go there for. On the other hand, UTA is known for academics and especially it's engineering, nursing, accounting, and architecture programs. They just built a huge research facility for engineering that is worth more than all of UTSA combined.
