Take the Spiderman franchise which already had 2 very successful movies in it 10 and 8 years ago and add a Dark Knight brooding feel to it...can it get more fucking lame

it's seriously as if they tried remaking the last 2 Batman movies but with Spiderman. There's no way I would've thought this looks good. Why doesn't some director just go ahead and make a new Lord of the Rings trilogy? I mean it has already been 9 years

Spider man 3 was so bad it killed that particular movie universe.

^ not 5 fucking years later! I have zero fucking interest in Spiderman at this time

I know, I know, it's still gonna make a killing at the box office

I actually agree with Cuban. Not every superhero is supposed to have a serious "The Dark Knight" tone to it. I'll see the movie.. but I don't like that the new superman movie and this movie are trying to be The Dark Knight.

And it is way too early to be rebooting this series.. though I understand if they didn't make a new movie by this time they would of lost the rights back to marvel.

Seriously, next we are going to see a serious "dark knight" version of "The Fantastic Four".

That's the only reason there is a new ghost rider movie. Also i believe marvel got back daredevil and blade

Really?!? If they got back the Daredevil rights that is awesome! Always liked that hero and have thought they would do a great job with his story if they got the rights back.

Actually they did. Just read that they got "The Punisher" back as well.

Well, it was reboot or let Sam Raimi fuck up the series even worse. Chances are he still had family members to give speaking lines to.

Looks like they went away from the original idea of re-telling the origin story that everyone knows. The Spiderman nerds will appreciate Gwen Stacy being used properly instead of being mishmashed with Mary Jane. I guess she lives since Goblin's not there to throw her off a bridge.

Interesting casting choice for Dr Connors.

Yeah I apologize in advance, but I'll take both my boys to see it when it comes out.

Isn't that Rhys Ifans? Huh. That wouldn't have occurred to me.

Well, he does say "woo-hoo!" when using his powers, so it'll probably make a lot of money.

The Lizard looks less lizardy than I remember, but he's a decent enough bad guy.

Looks pretty good.

I do like that it has the darker tone similar to Batman. Granted, it is just a preview, but it doesn't seem to have quite the same darkness that Batman has, looks like it still has a more fun side to it.

I'm eager to see how Garfield does as Spiderman. He seems like he's a pretty good actor, imho.

I'd rather see Real Steel followed by Battleship than this abortion of a franchise.

batman begins was far superior to the dark knight by the way

Highly disappointed in the trailer. I really dislike Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, Toby McGuire was much more fitting for the role. I can't help but associate Garfield with the pussy from The Social Network, there's just something about him.

The first Spider-Man movie was actually really good, 2nd was decent and the 3rd was just a mistake. Anyways, I doubt this Spider-Man will be better than the first one.

It's pretty frustrating to see my favorite comic ever get butchered like this.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you there, asshole.

Batman Begins was a great, fun, intersting starter, but The Dark Knight was the fastest 2 1/2 hours of a movie I've ever seen

although with the switching from Katie Holmes to Jake Gyllenhaal's uglier brother Maggie, you may have a point

LOL dont pay attention to the mookie crew's opinion of any movie, they all use the exact same formula for which movies to scoff and why.

Most of the time it doesn't involve watching the movies they're critiquing.
