Lakers, Mavericks, Nuggets, Rockets or Trailblazers?

Tough call, tbh.

Neither.

Thunder, Clippers, Spurs, Mavs, Lakers, Blazers, Nuggetts and Rockets make the playoffs imho.

Houston will end up the 9 seed again.

You're probably right, but if you had to pick one of the 4…?

Nuggetts or Rockets. Probably Rockets.

Who takes their place? Grizz? Jazz?

I'll go ahead and throw the Nuggets in…

Blazers if injuries happen again, which very likely will.

With the way they're surging the T-Pups might sneak into the playoffs

Imo, the 8 WC playoff teams, for this season:

Lakers
Spurs
Mavs
Thunder
Blazers
Clippers
Nuggets
Rockets

I think the Grizz will make a push when Randolph gets back.

I thought there was talk he may be out for the season?

Rockets aren't making the post season.

Rather have a potential top ten pick (Knicks' pick) and another top 14 pick in a deep draft.

Probably the rockets, or the blazers if they get injured. mavs or lakers won't miss lol

Rockets will more than likely drop out, but if Portland has an injury spree and Denver keeps losing players, they'll fall out instead.

No you don't. You want to trade that Knicks pick for Chris Kaman to help you get in the playoffs. Isn't that how Morey operates?

I thought the Nets have the Rockets pick for T-Williams.

:lol He better not pull that shit. The nets have our pick, but its protected. Like top 14 or 13 protected I think.

Just pull the trigger man. You guys are in the playoff race and Kaman will put you guys over the top. A playoff season would be great for Houston, especially with the Astros coming up. Just do it Morey. Do it for the fans.

So what would happen with that pick when the Hornets get contracted? Is it forfeited?

Probably the same thing that will happen once San Antonio gets a football team.

I should have laid money on who would bite on that first. Oh, well…

:lol I know you want that pick bad. The sad thing is alot of dumbass Rocket fans actually think we're a playoff team, which we're not. With the draft being this deep, no need to fuck up this opportunity. Plus it's fun to watch the Knicks' suck with something riding on it.

Honestly, I think the Knicks will go on a winning streak with Carmelo out. That fat fucker shoots them out of a game. If they can get Amare back and Melo misses a month or so, they will easily be a playoff team. Fat fucker is overrated.

the 9th seed would be more preferable then the 8th tbh. it doesn't make much sense for such a rebuilding team to get the 8th seed, only to get curbstomped in the 1st round and quit

Why would being one spot out of the playoffs be more advantageous? How much better is that draft pick going to be? Giving a young, talented team some playoff experience would be just as valuable imo.

It will likely be more than one spot, since the 9 seed in the west would almost always be a 5-7 seed in the east.

The Rockets aren't in the east and the quote said 9th. Not really worth a splitting hairs over. Thanks for the microscopic analysis though.
