Each poster may only pick 1 current Spur. This does not and should not reflect on your opinion on any other of our favorites (like picking outside the Big 3).

For example, I choose Gary Neal. He is the absolute shit: a fearless shooter, a good listener, an improving defender and overall a guy willing to do anything for the team.

If Neal had played more against the Grizzlies the Spurs might have won. Too many guys were afraid to shoot the big shots.

Ginobili easily, however Duncan, Neal, and Splitter are pretty close.

It's definitely Ginobili but I am definitely excited about what alot of the new guys can bring. There's Neal, KL, Green, Splitter, TJ, and even JA.

Apart from the big 3 I'd say my favorite player right now is KL. So much potential, and I feel a big reason why it looks like this year's team is bak to Spurs basketball. It's so nice to finally see again a guy who plays good, smart defense.

The defensive acumen displayed by KL, Splitter and Green really inspires other players to improve their game (or at least energy and focus) in this regard. Duncan seems rejuvenated on D and even Bonner and Parker are having one of their best seasons D-wise. But as unlikely as it sounds, I really think this movement starts with KL.

Outside Big 3: Tiago

Can "all of them" be an acceptable answer since "all" are playing as a cohesive ONE?

If not...Gary Neal.

Favorite player is still boring old Timmy, as I know what he still means to this teams championship aspirations. Outside of the big 3, it's Leonard for bringing back that hard nosed, defensive player on the wings.
There are a lot of guys to like on this team, so nice to have the problem of having to pick only one.

Duncan has always been my favorite...followed by Manu.

From the new batch of players it's easily Gary Neal. Dude is Jack in a smaller body.

Outside of the Big 3, I would have to choose Leonard and Splitter. These two have given our team a defensive identity again. We're not just throwing out one dimensional players anymore. Kawhi brings defense and rebounds and Splitter is becoming an offensive threat in the paint and also plays wonderful defense.

Fav spurs of the moment (the ones i check their box scores immediately)
Splitter
Green

The rest (in no particular order)
Neal (choo-choo)
The Big 3

Honorable mention:
Leonard: Doing great "fitting in"
Bonner: Doing great work so far this year, not his fault Pop overuses him.

Least favorite:

Blair (SHIT defense)
Jefferson (no hustle or effort)
Anderson (still think he's going to get lazy and dissappoint)

Well, the big three make up 60% of my top 5 favorite athletes of all time list, so outside of them...

NEAL no doubt. Love that guy. Definitely been considering getting a #14 Neal jersey for about a year now.

I've always been a big Manu fan, but right now I would have to go with Parker. I love the way he's stepped up and carried the team with Manu out. I especially liked his performance against Russell Westbrook. Bringing against another elite player is always awesome.

My 1-5. My favorites are 99% based on personality, and 1% on playing ability.

1. Matt Bonner -- Funny. Smart. Unique.
2. Tim Duncan -- The hidden wizard/nerd/paintball side is awesome.
3. Manu Ginobili -- For the obvious reasons.
4. Richard Jefferson -- I've been impressed with how he's handled his role on the Spurs, and how he handles the negative attention.
5. Gary Neal -- Liked him ever since watching his ESPN OTL (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FElU4FyGJEU) video.

:lol the problem is I think people have the misconception that I don't like the other 2 of the big 3.... due in no small part from some of my trolling.

Nothing could be further from the truth

Ginobili (with Duncan not that far behind).

Outside the big three - Kawhi Leonard.

I have to admit that I find it hard not to root for Bonner to succeed because of all of the negative comments about him.

I have no preference among the big 3... real talk... I usually jump into TP bashing so I can sound like a homer but thats not the case. I was a fan of the spurs before TP arrival, I was primary a Robinso fan.

Outside the big 3, Tiago then KL
