Ya I'd say don't be greedy. Take the grand a card now.
If it is an investment.

If he makes the all star team and leads NYK to a championship and the card is worth 5 grand two years from now, oh well. Vast majority have gone the other way card valuewise.

I had a Wilt, Magic-Bird-___, Clyde Drexler and several other rookie cards. Got out after it started it's downfall. Wilt i "settled" on 900 after it peaked at 1750.
