Not worth even taking a look?

Real done.

Even when he went to Chicago and Cleveland, he was a shell of his former-DPOY self. His stats over the past 3 seasons, though, really tell the story:

I'd honestly rather have Bonner out there at this point.

Other than those couple years with Pistons near the top, BW just wasn't ever much of a bball player.

Just a curiosity about Ben Wallace, there was an article on Yahoo sports that said that in the game against the Spurs, Ben Wallace is going to break Avery Johnson's record for biggest amount of games played in the NBA by an undrafted player.

Not worth even taking a look?

At this point in Ben's career he wouldn't even be able to out-rebound Matt Bonner..

Guy was a hell of a player in his prime, but he's been done for about 4 years.

A bold claim. Would you like to enlighten us on why?

Since we won, I can say this, but I secretly enjoyed watching Ben turn back the clock a little last night. One of my all-time favorite players.

:lol Me too. It was pretty awesome to see him defend Duncan on the low block for old time sakes. And seeing him get spitting mad on foul calls while defending the pick-and-roll brought back good memories of Game 7.

Ben Wallace, quote machine: On hitting a rare three-pointer and being the focus of Spurs coach Greg Popovich's Hack-a-Bad-Foul-Shooter strategy: "Three-ball -- that ain't nothing that you all haven't seen before. They hacked me. I made a couple free throws, shot a couple airballs -- still ain't nothing that you all have never seen before." :lol

Maybe the 3 pointer was an audition for Pop? lol even a great defender like Wallace knows what you have to do to get on the court for Pop.

If Tiago started making 3's he'd be starting and playing 30+ min a night.

Ben Wallace was a beast in his prime, but now he's about as done as a ribeye you left on the fire 10 minutes too long.

For about 5 game minutes on that Valentine's night Ben Wallace saw that Spurs uniform and the # 21, 20, and 9 and thought he was in July of 2005.

I nearly spit out my beer when Ben made that 3. He airballs FTs regularly, and then hits that shit? If the Spurs had lost because of that...

Dex

If Tiago started making 3's he'd be starting and playing 30+ min a night.

He also wouldn't have the 2nd highest FG% in the league.

Great quote. There was a running back who said "if you need three yards, I'll get you three yards. If you need six yards, I'll get you three yards."

Pop seems to value 3 pt chuckers rather than guys that can shoot 60+ FG%.
